Food Trend Alert: There’s a Pop-Tarts Cafe in NYC

Pop Tarts is opening a “Pop Tart Cafe” in New York City, and I don’t think anyone can object to that. With creations like a Pop Tart Pizza or Pop Tart Nachos, its something we can all get behind. It’s not often I eat pop tarts, but every time I do I wonder why I don’t eat them more. Now with authority these pop tarts creation, like the Chili nachos which has chocolate and cookies and cream pop tarts crumbled up as the ground beef. With the location being in Time Square, expect the place to be popping. Our advice? Make sure to make reservations in advance if possible, or find a designated friend who will hold a spot in line for you, because something like this is a can’t miss!

However, we can’t help but wonder that with spring break and the warm summer months creeping up, will hungry customers be as willing to dive into these calorie packed treats? With mother nature blessing us with spring-like weather in February, shaping and toning up for sunny days might be on ones mind more than usual, so skipping this marvelous Pop-Tart trend may be a possibility. On the other hand, do calories even exist during a time like this? There’s no way of knowing for sure. But what we do know is that this Pop-Tart craze has people lined up for what may seem like miles. No arguments here, this Pop-Tart cafe is one of the most refreshing and delicious ideas we’ve seen so far this year!
